Heartless
I had something go down between me and New York today. Any of you that know me in real life know that I’m always buying food and giving leftovers to the homeless. This mornign I saw an old man, shoeless, with swollen, painful looking feet, shivering and starving on the streets of manhattan, while busy-ass people flew by him on their ways to work. People from NYC always tell me it’s got more heart than any city in the world. They seem to be the only people who hold this opinion, often citing 9-11 as proof. I see jaded, pissed off people, sick of each other and too damn busy to be human, and it took the public detonation of two of their largest buildings to bring them together in any way. It took a Las Vegas hooker to buy chicken soup and hot coffee for this poor man. I don’t care who he is or what he did to anyone, no one deserves to live so wretchedly, even if it’s their own fault. <3
If anyone knows of any homeless shelters in Las Vegas that need volunteers, please hit me up on the site and let me know. For evey person I help there are thousands more that I can’t get to. Thanks!!
